It’s 2025, snow has already landed on the ground and the allure of a Scottish jaunt to Cardiff for the Welsh National is in the offing. It can only mean one thing… It's time for the Scottish Blood Bowl Annual Survey!
This is the third edition of the annual survey that enables the Scottish Blood Bowl Committee to measure the temperature of the water and what matters to Scottish coaches wherever they may live and all coaches, regardless of nationality, who play in Scottish Leagues.
There will be a few familiar questions as we look to spot trends from year-to-year and it only takes a few minutes to complete - so it would be great to see us beat the 94 respondents we had last year.

World Cup 2027 - the bids are in, what do you think?
Chris Rafferty, Scottish Blood Bowl Chairman and myself as Team Scotland Captain are currently sat on the globally formed 100 person committee who are scrutinising the bid documents from the four host candidates;
Dallas, Texas in the US
Dijon, France
Malta
Oamaur, New Zealand
With around 2,250 coaches in Alicante in 2023 the largest festival of Blood Bowl descended on the Spanish beach resort for an incredible week of dice, beer, sunshine and friendship. Twenty-two of those coaches represented Scotland, and speaking for myself, had the time of my life. I can’t recommend the World Cup highly enough - it’s definitely in my diary for 2027.

However the question is where?! Are you interested in going to the next World Cup, do you have strong views or questions that you’d like us as your representatives to put to the would-be hosts? Then let us know by answering a few key questions in the survey now before we cast our vote on behalf of the Scottish Blood Bowl Community.
